FetchFly.AI develops a self-learning aerial robotic system for autonomous material supply in manufacturing facilities, using the airspace within production halls to navigate dynamically through industrial environments via reinforcement learning and SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping).
The project is funded by the ERDF/JTF Programme NRW 2021-2027 (funding reference IN-ML-3-013a) and co-financed by the European Union, in partnership with the Chair of Production Systems (LPS) at Ruhr University Bochum, Multikopter.de, w3logistics AG, and the Research Center for the Engineering of Smart Product-Service Systems (ZESS).
